We hired McKays residential painting contractors initially for some interior painting and drywall repairs after my kitchen got flooded and I needed water damage restoration anyway. They did a fantastic job! I had wanted to do a kitchen remodel but didn’t have the funds but after McKays did some expert wallpaper stripping, wall painting, cabinet staining and wood floor refinishing as part of the restoration work, it looked brand new and I didn’t have to go to the expense of new cabinets and floors like I had feared! The finishing touches like new casing and baseboard really set it off nicely. I changed the wall color after I saw it in the kitchen for the first time and the licensed painters weren’t phased at all. I was so impressed I called them back out for the exterior house painting of my home last summer. I was really surprised at all the prep work involved and the thorough power washing that removed the old flaking paint on the fascia and trim. My deck has a lot of dry rot and needs termite repair so I’m thinking about having them come back out in the spring for that and maybe a new patio cover too.
